This afternoon is the CREATE business competition at Inverness UHI campus.
We are so excited to be finalists and pleased to be getting the chance to show the judges our business ideas and concepts we will be putting in place. It’s our time to shine like a lighthouse!
This is something we have never done before and has presented us with a new challenge but we are fully committed to showing us in the best light.
Challenges have been very much what 2016 has been about for us and we are sure 2017 will hold many more interesting ones too. The amazing thing about CREATE is that we wil find out toiday whether we have been awarded any funding. We also get to attend the awards ceremony that night and listen to businesses that won an award the year before. So we will be able to update you pretty quickly about what happened on the night. Fingers crossed.!
In other BCS news…
David is ploughing his way through the endless amount of distiller’s licenses that we require, seven so far – (so that is about equal to the coffee he needs in the morning). We think there might be even more. It’s time consuming work but well worth it for the amazing end result we will have. Looks like a very promising start to 2017!
Whilst things seem like they may be quiet on social media do not fear, we are still busy behind the scenes running around to make different deadlines so that when the licences do come through, we are ready to hit the ground running and make sure we have tastings ready to get our Beach Craft Spirits’ rum out there.
The Beach Hut
“The Beach Hut” will “set sail” very soon and will be an excellent place for you to buy your very own Beach Craft Spirits merchandise. There will be t-shirts and hoodies initially as well as the opportunity of getting your name put into beach craft history with our names plaques.
As the weather here is getting wet, cold and icy, stay safe and look forward to the summer months sipping Beach Craft Rum on the sand!
Remember it’s #aShoreThing
