8 days to go
We have eight days left for people to become Beachcombers and pledge to become part of the Beach Craft Spirits journey. So if you haven’t, but want to, make sure you get in before the deadline!
Lots of other things have been happening. We meet with SNP MSP Richard Lochhead who took some time out of his busy schedule to visit our premises and hear our plans. It was great to meet him and listen to his advice and experience within the food and drink sector. The distillery will be part of a very important craft drink sector within Moray. It’s important to raise this area’s profile for the fantastic craft hub it is.
We are still awaiting a response regarding the distiller’s license but hopefully this won’ be too much longer so we can get the much awaited product out and get some tasting nights happening.
Moray Business Women
It’s also less than two weeks now until the Moray Business Woman’s 10th Anniversary Awards ceremony. I have been nominated to go forward as Moray Business Woman of the Year 2016. This is amazing and very humbling to say the least. I’m really pleased to have been put forward. It looks set to be a great night and we are both excited whilst a little nervous about the event (mostly as it involves us both dressing up a bit more than the usual hoody and jeans!) The auction taking place on the night is amazing and has lots of unusual lots. It is raising money for Moray Woman’s Aid and we hope they raise a considerable amount on the night to support this worthwhile local cause.
Behind the scenes
We are both continuing to work really hard behind the scenes to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible, this isn’t always the case but we always enjoy a few curve balls chucked in to make the journey a little more interesting and unusual!
The next couple of weeks have got some exciting plans on the go, hopefully on the next blog we shall be able to explain more about this, but for just now get your pledges in on the quick step before the deadline on the 9th November 11:41am and remember it’s a shore thing…
